28th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree

The General Association of the Scouts of China is hosting the 28th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree from 11th to 17th July 2011, in conjunction with the 100 Years of Scouting in Taiwan.

The regional Jamboree is a major regional event which is a gathering of fun, friendship and learning.

Venue
Chengcing Lake is located in Kaohsiung, southern part of Taiwan. The nearest international airport is Kaohsiung International Airport, which is about 40 minutes by bus. Participants may also plan to arrive in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei which is about five hours by bus from Taipei to Kaohsiung.

Jamboree Fee
Jamboree fee is applied uniformly to all participants and staff at USD200 which covers food, tentage, activities, Jamboree souvenirs, insurance and inland transportation between the airport and Jamboree site.

IST Fee
USD150.00 per person

Eligibility
The Jamboree is organized for young people both male and female aged 12 to 17 years old. International Service Team (IST) should be above 18 years old and ideally not above 45 years old.

Home Hospitality
Maximum of 3 days before and after the Jamboree will be arranged for overseas participants who are willing to have more experiences in Taiwan.
