A Scout from Peru wins OECD video contest on progress
Javier Elias, 24 from Peru took part in a video contest organised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on the occasion of its 50th Anniversary. For the contest, the participants were invited to create a short video describing their vision of Progress.
Javier submitted his entry with the help of his Scout group and friends in the United States of America, France and Sudan. He asked them all to share their understanding of the word “progress”.
His video entitled “Progress is education for all” is visible here below:
The winners will be invited to the OECD Forum in May 2011, with travel cost, hotel accommodation and daily allowance provided for five days.
