Rovers and leaders join in finding for survivors

Bangladesh Scouts mobilized Rovers and Leaders in finding survivors after an eight-storey building collapsed in Savar, Bangladesh on 24th April 2013 which claimed over 300 lives and severely injured hundreds of others. Death toll is expected to rise for many are still missing.

Savar is a sub-district about 45 kilometers from Dhaka and is known to be a place for clothing factories for years.

Upon learning the tragedy, Bangladesh Scouts took the initiative to rescue people from the disaster site in coordination with the Bangladesh Defense Force, Red Crescent Society and the locals. Aside from rescue work, other Rovers are donating blood.
