A new Communication training area

 A new area for training opens today on Scout.org, for all the communication responsibles of the Scout Movement. The organization of the second series of regional communication Fora allowed to reinforce the training programme of those responsible for Communication in the Scout Movement. Derived from the Scout.Boom.Comm method, a series of modules have been created to accompany you in all the stages of elaboration and implementation of your future strategy.

There is an audiovisual presentation that corresponds to each module, which in its educational format, allows you to train yourself independently. Each audiovisual is linked to a chapter in the Scout.Boom.Comm training manual and in some case other audiovisual or written tools. Since the launching of the fora in 2010 you have been over 7500 people to download the tools that have been put at your disposal in French, English and Spanish.

The External Relations team of the World Scout Bureau created this programme to help you continue your mission and is looking forward to receiving you for the next three regional communication fora that will take place in Bhutan for the Asia Pacific region from the 29th September to the 2nd of October, in Kuwait for the Arab region middle of October (dates to be confirmed) and in Athens Greece at the end of October.

The evaluation of the first five fora in Africa, Eurasia and Interamerica has been very encouraging. The general satisfaction of the participants has been scored at 9 out of 10, and 100% of the participants have manifested their intent to recommend the fora to other Scout Leaders

So do not hesitate to visit the training area and come to the Fora!
