The Singapore Scout Association will be the next host of the 3rd ASEAN Scout Jamboree at the Sarimbun Scout Camp from 4th to 9th December 2010 as a result of the meeting of leaders of ASEAN Scout Association Regional Co-operation (ASARC) Mid-Term Meeting, held at the Cibubur Scout Complex in Jakarta, Indonesia on 25th November 2009.

It was chaired by Regional Scout Committee member and Gerakan Pramuka Chairman Dr Azrul Azwar participated by Cambodia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. At the meeting they reinforced their earlier commitment to strengthen friendship amongst the countries and to support potential countries in southeast Asia in cooperation with the APR Scout Committee.
